About

Real Craftsmanship. Zero Subcontractors. 100% Local.

Welcome to Flooring And Moore Installation Services. We are an independent, family-owned flooring contractor based in Newport, Michigan, dedicated to bringing elite hard-surface installations to homeowners across Southeast Michigan and Northwest Ohio. With over 20 years of certified hands-on experience, we were founded on a simple principle: you deserve a master installer, not a salesman. We specialize in luxury vinyl plank flooring LVP, laminate and hardwood flooring. We install it seamlessly throughout the house without the use of bulky transition strips giving your new floor the high end seamless look that you would expect from a professional flooring contractor.

Our “No Middleman” Promise

The biggest problem in the flooring industry today is the “bait and switch”—where a retailer sells you a premium floor but sends an unvetted, underpaid subcontractor to install it. We work differently.

When you hire Flooring And Moore, you get us. My specialized 3-man crew manages your project personally from the first measurement to the final trim nail. We never use subcontractors, meaning we maintain absolute quality control over your home.

Obsessed With The Details

A floor is only as good as the preparation underneath it. Unlike standard crews who rush to lay planks over uneven surfaces, we specialize in the technical prep work that makes a floor last a lifetime:

  • ✅ Advanced Subfloor Prep: We grind down high spots on both wood and concrete subfloors and utilize self-leveling compounds to fix high spots and dips, ensuring a perfectly flat foundation.
  • ✅ Structural Integrity: We identify and fix joist deflections and remove structural squeaks before installation begins.
  • ✅ Transition-Free Layouts: We expertly flush-cut door jambs and casing profiles, allowing your LVP or hardwood to slide seamlessly between rooms without ugly, bulky transition strips.
